This may get an objection or two.
Christmas Edition!
"The 12 Days of Christmas": Straight No Chaser > (everyone else)
"Mele Kalikimaka": Jimmy Buffet > Bing Crosby and The Andrews Sisters (although that is a great version)
"White Christmas": The Drifters > Bing Crosby (sorry, Binger)
"Sleigh Ride": The Ronettes > Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops
"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" The Barenaked Ladies with Sarah Mclachlan > (everyone else)
"Last Christmas": Taylor Swift > Wham!
I'm a "7" compared to most gun-guys, which means I'm a "3" on P-F.
I think Annie Lennox knocks God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen out of the park:
Adding nothing to the conversation since 2015....
Cruel Summer: Evanescence
Because the Night: 10,000 Maniacs
Galveston: Glen Campbell

Not better...but different.
Bluegrass cover of Sweet Child O' Mine.
Hearing Slash's lead being alternated on a mandolin and a steel guitar is unique.
Generally I'm not a big fan of covers, but I'm waffling on Five Finger Death Punch's version of Bad Company. Overall, I think I like it better, but don't like that they switched "sixgun" to "shotgun".

Not that there's an "original" per-se but, everything is better with metal vocals. This dude sure has some power.

Not exactly a cover, and from 7 years ago, but she's worth a listen.
