Holosun 509T Glock MOS plate shortage?

Am I missing some sort of production shortage?

I just bought a new G45 MOS and am looking for a C&H plate to use for a Holosun 509T.

Every site I look (except a couple questionable ones) seem to be completely out of of C&H Glock MOS plates for the Holosun 509T.

I would also look FCD, but no 509T plates there.

    Anyone have any insight?

    Thanks!

This, the OEM plate is very well executed and made of steel. The only Holosun plate that is not well done is their 407k to MOS plate, all the others I've seen I wouldn't hesitate to run. DPP Titanium also makes a 509t MOS plate:

I've had good results with a DPP Titanium EPS plate so I'd expect this one to be a quality option as well.

What is the best site to get the Holosun OEM plate for Glock MOS from?

Does not seem as common as others.

    https://www.opticsplanet.com/holosun...r-for-mos.html

    This the correct one?

Optics Planets website is always a little weird/confusing to me, any others?

Everyone seems to be out of stock right now. I’m on the Optics Planet wait list, which in my experience has shipped Holosun plates within a month of ordering, but also gives the option to cancel the order if they pop up elsewhere.

I also have a CHPWS steel 509/MOS plate I’ll send you if you’ll pay shipping—I ordered it, can’t return it, and am unimpressed with the amount of play front to back and side to side just placing it in the MOS cut. CHPWS says it’s within tolerances, but the Holosun plates I’ve used on other guns fit much tighter. I’m not planning to install it—I want the added comfort of a tight fit to absorb shock vs. just relying on the two screws. PM me if you’re interested.

I have a DPP plate for a G19 & 509T. Works fine, but that particular gun only has a few hundred rounds through it so I can't speak to long term function. I got it from Amazon for roughly $35. Upside: titanium, available, inexpensive. Downside: Made in China.

No doubt, the shortage is due to all the usual suspects redirecting their efforts to making capstan screws.
