TK Custom J frame Kit

Does anybody have experience with the TK Custom J frame kit?

I have used the Apex kit in 2 of my J's and they have worked just fine. Apex used to advertise that their supplied firing pin was longer to aid ignition. They do not advertise that anymore. I wonder if their pin is still longer,

TK Customs advertises their kit has a longer firing pin. I bought a 638-2 a few weeks ago because they were made with no lock. Sold my other one with the "hole". I installed a set of reduced power Wolff springs in it and polished the rebound slide. Unfortunately, I had a light strike in the first 50 rounds. I want to remove the Wolff springs ad try an Apex or TK kit in it and see how that goes.
