You can always put the old grips back on for BBQ's/show and tell. None of my classic S&W's have the original grips because I like to shoot them. I still have them however and when I sell those will go back on the gun. I have some VZ's on a model 36 that make it a pleasure to shoot. Otherwise, the grips are too small.

Nice K frame. I could use one of those. The closest I have is model 19-3 snubbie that gets 38 spl loads. That one has Ahrends on it. I really baby that one.

In the P-F basket of deplorables.

Congrats. The 2" Model 15 was my first agency issued firearm in 1983. Carried one for about four years.
There's nothing civil about this war.

Those revolvers used to be a favorite for cop snubby matches.
A quote about them went something like this, "It shot like it thought it
    was a four inch."

I have two. One has Pachmayr grips and one has the original wood
grips. I plan to add a grip adaptor to that one.

Best shooting with the first one was by my youngest son who was a
Bullseye shooter at the time. Shooting two-handed he made a
handsize group on a silhouette target at 100 yards. I tried the same
shot but hit high above the silhouette.

    I wish I could find a nickel-plated one.

No. We used to drive out to Gene DeSantis' home in Nassau County to pick up our leather gear. No shoulder holsters for us.

This!!! I followed Stephanie and Tamara's advice and I bought and installed a BK grip adapter on my Model 10-7. Love it!!! Best of all, it allows the use the original grips, which just look classy on a S&W revolver.

I don't blame you. I think the blue is kinda gaudy but my wife likes blue

I think I have the plan black on my 2" m10 and while they're not wood it doesn't look as gaudy.

I like those. Are they cut flush? I've got a pair of targets I might try that on

    Yes, cut flush.
