Hey,
Can anyone suggest a good rifle smith to do various small projects, such as replacing a barrel on a M700, cutting and threading some other barrels, etc.? Know of anyone in the southeast?
Thanks,
R.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

I had some trigger work done by Jon Tank from Tank's Rifle Shop.
He's in Fremont, NE. I used to see him at a match I attended.

I recently had a rifle barrel threaded by McGowen Precision in Kalispell Montana. I am pleased with the work, the quick turn around and the pricing. Obviously, Kalispell is a bit out of the Southeast US though. Hope that helps.

Greg Young, Southern Precision Rifles, Bugholes.com is one SE riflesmith I would recommend w/o hesitation.
Steve at Apache Machine and Custom, ApacheMachine.com is another one who does excellent work and I would recommend w/o hesitation.
I am sure there are many others in the SE I am forgetting .
