Thread: S&W 432PD with an exposed hammer???

  1. #1

Question S&W 432PD with an exposed hammer???

    Am I missing something?

I have a saved search on GB for S&W 432PD (not that I can afford the prices they command these days) and this popped up today. I thought the exposed hammer model was a 431PD, and the centennial version was the 432PD, but this one has an exposed hammer and is clearly marked as a 432PD (see photo 13). Anybody know what’s going on here? Am I ignorant or confused, or is this just weird?

Maybe they changing the name to align with others like the 351c and 351PD? That is cool.
