Never own a scw holster, but the JMCK #2 works very well for me, especially with heavier guns because it seems to distribute the weight. I prefer his IWB#3 for poly framed guns but my steel framed guns do much better in my use with the #2 which seems to sorta resemble the scw models. Sad what was apparently a good design disappeared on you.
The Privateer Leather Bucaneer, Cuttthroat or Vigilante might be another leather option that somewhat mimics the profile. Wes's work and turn around for custom holsters is great and his pricing is good.
