Austin Car thief regrets decision to break into Haisam Rida's car

I can't even imagine how bad of an idea it was to try to steal the car the 99+kg Jiu Jitsu standout from the second best BJJ school in the country.

Looks like Rida isn't too broken up...as opposed to said criminal..who appears to be rather broken up.

He looks like he got "all the submissions" done to him.

Did he toss him into the middle of the street when he was done with his "practice"? Looks like the guy couldn't have made it on his own. Nice all around!

Definitely had that vibe of making an orthopedic surgeon go, "Wow...".

An interesting and somewhat unrelated follow up:

Craig Jones (the owner of said gym) mentioned in a podcast that these car burglaries are seemingly quite common. His passport and some gear he got while coaching a UFC fighter in a title match were stolen...as was another gym member's firearm.

Ah, the good ol' "car gun" strategy strikes again.

It will be interesting to see if crime drops off in this area while this knucklehead is out of commission.
