    Rear sight width recommendations

I am having my CZ P07 slide milled for a Holosun 508T. The recommendation from Wager works is to use a Dawson precision .260” front sight (which is .1” wide) and a Glock .325 rear sight. Considering the fact that I don’t have a choice in my front site width, what would you recommend for the width of a Glock rear notch?

With the understanding that a lot of reasonable minds can disagree on this topic:

My preferred iron sight setup to balance speed and precision is .145 rear with a .125 front (the standard size for narrow tritium sights), or the rear notch .020 wider than the front. If I had a .100 front I would use a .120-ish rear notch to keep things similar.

With these being BUIS to the optic it probably won’t make a whole lot of difference. Most manufacturers range from having the rear notch being the same width to the rear being up to .040 wider. I wouldn’t stray too far from that range.

Thanks for the reply. I went with the .125” rear, so .025” difference.
