In the spirit of the post here's my N-frames, from oldest to youngest. There used to be many others but I don't want to talk about that! (LOL)
1921 2nd Model Hand Ejector 44 Special - customized years ago, probably in the 1940s.

It has a 4-1/2" barrel and elegant fixed rear sight.
Next up is my 1937 Brazilian S&W "45 DA". Cut to 3-1/2", hand made ramp for the dovetail front sight, tuned inside for DA shooting with a re-curved trigger profile for DA as well.
Attachment 105341
This is my 4" 1952-3 S&W 38-44 Heavy Duty. All I shoot in it are duplicate hand loads to the original factory specs of 158g @ 1125 fps.
Attachment 105342
And finally my blue-steel 45 ACP Mountain Gun, a revolver S&W never made but should have.
Attachment 105343
A gunsmith friend of many years took my M25-2 with a Model of 1950 6.5" tapered barrel and made a thing of beauty out of them. Round butted as all Mountain Guns were, it has the original ramp pinned to the barrel rib, and the front sight pinned to the ramp. Just as S&W used to do it.
