Anyone try making their own leather holsters?

I enjoy making holsters as projects. I wish I had a leather sewing machine, but due to the low volume I make for personal projects, hand stitching works. These are some I have made over the past 4 years. I made my own pattern, with inspiration from other styles I found online (mainly Tom Threepersons old style).

Has anyone else made their own? I'm not talking making them commercially, just hobby stuff.Name: IMG_8311.jpg

    Nice work.

If I was to get some leather tools for doing copper rivets and maybe some d rings on suspenders, where should I go?

Tandy Leather has a store here, and they are all online. You might also check Weaver Leather Supply.

I made a couple Glock and 1911 holsters. Wouldn’t have got me in the leatherworkers guild, but they were perfectly functional.

I might have them stashed somewhere, I’ll see if I can take some pics.
