    G43 and G43X

Will a 43 slide fit on a 43X frame? Has anyone done this and if yes, how did it work out for you? Thanks.

I have a 43 and a 43X, and the slides are identical so there's no reason it wouldn't work. I don't know what the advantage would be though.

Definitely yes. I've mixed/matched and shot 43, 43X and 48 slides with each frame. I recently got a 43X MOS with the RMSc optic but I'm using it primarily on my 43.

As far as I'm aware, yes, a 43 slide will fit on a 43X frame, and a 43X slide will fit on a 43 frame.

Which is good to note, because if you're into slimline Glocks you can configure them to have a G43X if you buy a G43 and G48. Or, a "G43L", for those people who like short grips and long barrels....
