When I lose a knife, I LOSE it - replacement advise

Anybody can lose a knife, sure. But not many people can drop it just before pouring concrete into the area where it was dropped.... So my Kershaw Glassbreaker Blur that I've carried since 2014 is now a future archeological discovery. I'm kind of saddened by it's loss, it's got at least 4 window breaks on it and one seat belt cut. But I digress.

Other than the lack of serrations, is there any reason to not replace it with this much cheaper option: https://www.amazon.com/Kershaw-Barri...dp/B06XPR3W77/

In the desert, looking for water.
At that price? Buy and try. It should be functional and reliable, at least as a knife.

The issue I had with an import Kershaw is that the screws threaded into the plastic scales and not the metal liner. They constantly were loose and eventually just couldn’t be tightened at all. Dunno if that particular knife is the same way.
I was into 10mm Auto before it sold out and went mainstream, but these days I'm here for the revolver and epidemiology information.

There's a few knives, an Estwing hammer, and at least one tape measure buried around the county here.

Single position pocket clip is in the wrong place for me... YMMV.

No lanyard loop, if that's something you use.

I don't know how big the knife you lost was, but the one you linked to is too big for me to carry comfortably on a daily basis. I have that knife and it lives in my car for use in emergencies. Fortunately, I've never had to use it, so I can't speak to its durability. Construction quality, like price, is not to the level of my Benchmade or Spydercos.

You deserve nice things. Here are a few options that come to mind:

    Benchmade Triage

Benchmade SOCP (on the big side...)

If OTFs are legal for you...

I strongly suspect that this knife more than exceeds the intersection of quality/value/performance.

So long as the clip position works you and the PRC manufacturing is not an issue, I would buy with confidence.

On the off chance the knife is bad, poorly centered etc., Amazon will take it back within the 30 day window with ease.

    Honestly, I’d suggest this one:

    https://www.amazon.com/Kershaw-Glass.../dp/B0074FIPEM

Given that it’s not *that* much more for a better knife, and it would probably make you happy.
