Good dogs taking a bite out of crime. That’s the most punishment he’ll get for that. Looks like some serious probation inbound.

Just a dog chauffeur that used to hold the dumb end of the leash.
I always love to watch a take down by a dog. If I were training those dogs I'd train them for a crotch hold.
In the P-F basket of deplorables.
I avoid Chinahat rd like the plaque. I spotted some transient pushing a shopping cart towards town from that area who attempted to park on the corner of my property un some heavy tree and shrub cover. I had just happened to be out hunting coyotes that night so I am watching all of this happen in NVGs. Let's just say the dude was shocked when I got within about 20 yard of him in the dark and told him he's got 30 seconds to pack his crap and get off my property. I think the helmet, rifle slung across my chest and goggles might have contributed.... I am more pissed off that I think he scared off a few coyotes I was trying to deal with that night. Waste of a hunt.![]()
I still makes me giggle to think what might have been going through his mind, and to watch him try to push the shopping cart up the gravel embankment on the road was pretty funny too. I am actually kinda impressed the dude pushed a shipping cart all the way out here from town in the first place. I am at least 8 miles from the nearest store and he was coming from the national forest area, chinahat rd is 5 miles on unpaved rutty roads from me. LOL
That begs the question of what he was up to. Random migration of hobos into more remote Portland neighborhoods like ours happens occasionally. A neighbor and I 'escorted' a fit young man out of our area right as kids were coming home from school. Was he here on purpose? Who knows. Same with your hobo? My guess is these unhoused individuals are usually looking for resources of some sort, and I always assume they're up to nothing good.

"A member of two key oversight bodies in San Francisco’s criminal justice system is heading to trial for allegedly raping a woman after offering her a ride. William Monroe “Tariq” Palmer II, 53, pleaded not guilty to assault with force, sexual battery by restraint, sodomy by use of force and false imprisonment. The charges stem from an alleged incident in late August when prosecutors said Palmer offered a ride to a woman who was walking to a BART station, took the woman to his home and assaulted her."
"Palmer was 17 when he was arrested and sentenced to life in prison for accosting an off-duty police officer at gunpoint and demanding money. In prison, he earned his GED and an associate degree, studied art and took up painting. He had been incarcerated for 23 years when the California Supreme Court ruled in 2019 that his sentence was excessive and ordered his release on parole. Palmer was on parole at the time of his arrest Nov. 9.
After his release, Palmer’s story of redemption led to media coverage and advocacy work. He was featured in the Chronicle for his efforts to stop generational cycles of incarceration."

Color me shocked he's even being prosecuted for this. Must have been a thorn in someone's side. Hopefully, he'll have a quiet place to pursue his art. For the rest of his life.
