I know some folks don’t like the nickel trigger/hammer as not original, but to me that’s the kind of custom mod that made sense for somebody who was building a gun to actually carry/do work with. Especially if it was built by someone in the subtropical South East /Gulf Coast / east Texas parts of the country in the time before widespread air conditioning.

I don’t remember completely the history of the third model hand ejector. Like when smith made it a catalog item. I do remember that the Wolf and Klar guns were numbered with the second model hand ejector. It’s possible that is a Wolf and Klar gun. It’s about 8 thousand numbers away from my Wolf and Klar. It’s worth going over to the smith forum and asking there.
