I recently handled a 66-2 with what I assume was a 2.5" barrel. (I didn't measure it)
It was in .38 Special only; not .357. Would that be worth less than a typical .357 Model 66?

I called the shop first thing yesterday morning to find out, there were numerous inquiries on the 66 within hour's of the email list going out a little after 10 am Tuesday and it was sold well before the end of the day, as the old saying goes...snooze ya loose.
If I got an email with a 4" M29 on the list I'd burn down the phone lines yelling to take my money.

Beware of my temper, and the dog that I've found...
When I called yesterday morning it'd been 2 day's since the first part of the estate list had been emailed to local customers, I was told 65-70 pistol's had been sold from that list, it's a real small, 2 man shop, no signage, parking for maybe half a dozen cars. I'm told the high end listings are yet to come.
Yup. Go to www.imfdb.org and they’ll list every movie and TV show a firearm was used in.
