I remember when versions in 7mm were selling for $79 by mail order.
Never had the $79 at the right moment.

A good friend has one of the South American contract rifles in .30-06 (Venezuela?) and while it is a good shooter it looks pretty rough compared to yours. Congrats on that find. Daddy of the FAL.
And to think that when I woke up this morning, I didn't even know I needed another rifle...
