I remember Dallas PD FTU using a concrete mixer to clean thousands of .38 Special cases. They loaded 2.8 BE with a 158 lead SWC by the 10s of thousands.

The prison system had two Camdex machines, one for .38 Spl and the other for 223. They used Win 231 for 38 and a Win rifle powder for 223.

I ran across a guy at the range a few years back, who had a belt fed .50 cal, and that’s what he was using to clean his brass.. He also told me he was at the time, buying powder by the 55gal drum, and could’ve gotten a really good deal on it if he bought it by the ton, but, didn’t have any place to safely store that much powder..
