    Canadian folk singer Gordon Lightfoot dies at 84

    "TORONTO (AP) — Gordon Lightfoot, Canada’s legendary folk singer-songwriter known for “If You Could Read My Mind” and “Sundown” and for songs that told tales of Canadian identity, died on Monday. He was 84."

    I saw him in concert at my college. I was the yearbook photographer so I was up front and could move around. RIP.

    I saw him in Marquette, MI years ago.
    He said, "I'd like to introuduce the band. Ted this is Bill,
    Bill, this is Ted..." (Names are aproximate after all this time.)

    It was a good show.

    My wife and I saw him in Buffalo, many years ago, when we were dating. Great performance. It's a loss.
