    This is for all intents and purposes a Beretta-made B&T P26, brought to market to win the 2019 Italian MoS / Armed Forces submachine gun contract (replacement for the PM12). Given how euro gun companies operate, magazine compatibility to appeal to the civilian market was probably wayyyy at the bottom of their design requirements list.

    They would never use a single feed magazine in a duty use SMG at this point. 92 (and other) Mag compatibility on the CX4 was primarily because it was intended to be sold civilian market where ultimate feed reliability in full auto wasn't a major consideration. Double column feed is far more reliable in duty conditions.
