I got a great deal on a BR4 bipod that I couldn’t pass up. It’s a very nice bipod with tons of great features but… once I got it mounted to my rifle, I realized that even with the legs fully extended, I could still use an inch or two more height to shoot comfortably.

I know AccuTac offers screw-on leg extensions, but they only come in 10” lengths and sell for $75. I thought about buying a set, cutting them down to the size I need, and threading the end to accept the feet. But looking at pictures of their extensions, it appears that the ends are separate machined parts press fit into the tubes?

Another option I found would be made by Hawk Hill Customs. They make an adaptor for AccuTac bipods to fit Atlas feet. They look like they add about an inch to maybe 1.5” to the end of the AccuTac legs and sell for about $40

In hindsight, I should have gotten a BR5, but this was a private party sale, so returns aren’t an option.
