    Tiger McKee has died

It seems that Tiger McKee has died in his sleep presumably yesterday. Sad to hear. I have never trained with him, but heard good things about him.

I subscribe to his newsletter and enjoyed much of his commentary, especially what will presumably be the last one about J-frames.
From a self centered standpoint, it also bothers me when people born in my same year die in their sleep...

RIP. Always enjoyed things written by him. He left us far too early. Condolences to his family and loved ones.

Damn. I am really bummed about this.

My condolences to his family and those who knew him. I enjoyed his writings, his regular contributions to The Tactical Wire, and appreciate that he gave his time and energy training many people who go regularly in harm's way.

    Condolences to Tiger McKee's family.

I did take a two day rifle/carbine course in Augusta GA around 2006. Great teacher and instructor. He left us too young.

He did author a great book "A Book of two guns" which was very unique and a great reference. Here is the link.

I don't know who he was but nobody needs to die that young. My condolences to his family.

Unique for sure. I didn't know anyone trained to fight with a 1911 these days although I think it's probably still relevant in the age of striker/polymer pistols. We're probably going back to the dark ages with the magazine restrictions increasing nation wide. We're already there where I live.
In the P-F basket of deplorables.

Sad to hear this. I never took a class with him but know a whole lot of students who did. Never heard one negative comment about the guy, from anybody.
