    I was hoping for faster as I did a 19.3 training hike in sub 7 hours but there were just too many people on the trails. Mountain bikers too.

    Oh well. Once I recover, I may go back and try to do it faster.

    Solid work dude! Your numbers reminded me of a ruck race I did a couple years ago with my Dad. It was his first ruck race, and the ~40# ruck plus the heat made it a miserable day in the Texas Hill Country. If I'd been alone, I probably would've been sub 7hrs fairly easily.

    Yeah. Had it been 15° warmer it would have slayed me.

    I failed to pre-hydrate correctly and I’m still paying for it.

    You really couldn’t have asked for better weather in April for a hike like that than what we had Sunday. It could have been so much worse, it’s supposed to be in the mid 80’s this Thursday.
