    Local USPSA Match Data

I am curious what other matches around the country are having for participation by division.

Please share what you're seeing at your locals.

    Last month for us

    96 shooters
    47 CO
    22 Limited (17 minor, 5 major)
    19 Open
    6 PCC
    2 Production
    0 Revolver
    0 Single Stack

    Production is dead.
Revo and SS have been dead.
2/3 of the limited shooters are new shooters.

It seems around here if you shoot the sport long enough to get classified you are likely shooting a dot.

    49 CO
    17 Limited
    9 Open
    6 PCC

    0 Revolver
    0 Single.

Here my last 4 matches. It's still cold here and participation is low, but the ratio doesn't change much in the summer.
LOcap divisions and PCC are just the same 1 or 2 diehards. This is mix of free and ban states too...

Limited 28 (20 minor, new shooters/mid class seniors)
    Limited 10 4 (same guy)
    Open 40
    Production 6 (same 2 guys/ at 3 matches)
    Revolver 3 (same guy)
    Single Stack 11
    Carry Optics 64
    Pcc 5 (4: same guy)

Upcoming this Saturday based on Practiscore, most folks who are coming have already registered for this one

    Carry Optics 28
    PCC 4
    Limited 4 (two minor)
    Production 1
    Open 9

    Previous month (rougher weather)
    Carry Optics 17
    Open 4
    Limited 5 (1 minor)
    PCC 3
    Single stack 1

The only chance to save production is to up the mag limit, and the board chose not to.

I just came back to the sport after 10+ years thanks to my new knee. I had sold my 2011 open and limited guns in 2012.

I was thinking last summer when I started again that I would get new ones now that it seems I can play, but at this point 9 months in, I see no reason to.

I guess sticking a magwell on and putting on an iron sight upper and shooting limited minor will scratch my itch if I really want to shoot irons.

Carry optics crushes everything else at the local and major levels.

LO isn’t that popular at majors but might be at locals. Will be interesting to see where it goes.

Today's L1 club match, and our L2 State championship at end of this month- it's obvious that CO is by far the most popular division.

Taking CO, LO, Open, and PCC, it is clear that if you haven't got a Dot you just aren't With It.
