    Beautiful. I don’t use that word in reference to firearms very often but it seems appropriate here.

    I really like it with 38/44 level loads , Ive never been a big 357 Mag fan.
    Although that has me thinking about cutting down a S&W model 25 Classic to 3.5 inches , because I have always loved the 45 Colt. Would make a heck of matching pair

    I too shoot 38-44 loads in both of the 357 Mags I still have, plus the 1952-53 vintage 4" Heavy Duty in the safe. A 158g bullet at ~1125 fps is not to be sneezed at but less painful to old arthritic hands than full blown Magnums.
