    Rifle capabilities

It's nice to know my rifles capabilities. I normally flub my groups and am honestly happy with 1.5-2moa groups at 200. Here's my best 200 yard group ever. 1.24"

    I really like KISS rifles!

    Good shooting!

That’s great shooting. Mind sharing the upper and scope specs?

    Nice rifle and shooting!

Do you know what is the opposite of that? Knowing your rifle sucks no matter what you do and debating how to ethically get rid of it. I have an Aero AR10 that patterns like shit despite the expense in trying to improve it. It's like I have a battered wife syndrome or something: If I love it more, it won't hurt me as much! I better get that pamphlet I saw in the gun club bathroom and break this cycle of abuse!

Certainly nothing to be ashamed of. Id be quite happy with that.

I have no 200 yard groups, but hope to be on the path to having some.

Im starting with an older Ruger 77 tang safety and have a 6mm Rem heavy barrel for it. We shall see how it shapes up.

It's a green mountain barrel. I don't remember the upper manufacturer. It's a bcm rail. The scope is a 2.5-10x44 vortex viper. And whatever is Geissele's cheap trigger.

Nice set up. I have a weird infatuation with quad rails.. I have a bcm mk2 with all the latest gadgets and I still love my bcm upper with light weight barrel and centurion quad rail.. it has an aero lower that has significance to me (best man from my wedding has the serial number right before mine). Mlok makes a handy rifle, but I just don't like it the same way

I'm right there with ya. Bcm did a good job with the qrf rail. Gives it an M16a4 vibe while being free floated and a few ounces lighter.

    Thanks

This rifle is growing on me. Weight and all. It's getting close to replacing my carbine with rds as my go to long gun.
