    Happy Birthday US Navy!

On 13OCT1775, the Continental Congress created the United States Navy...

So to all my fellow shipmates-

To my Shipmates of the past, thank you for your service to our Great Nation, keeping us free!

To my Shipmates of Today, thank you for doing what you do, serving in the Greatest Navy of the Greatest Nation on Earth! It's an honor to serve with you!

Wherever you're at, whatever you're doing, may you all have a blessed day, and always have Fair Winds and Following Seas!

    Strength & Honor!

We're out of rum and the lash is broken, so you know what that means...

    Happy B-Day, USN!

All teasing of squids (and wing-wipers) aside, the only difference between driving ships and planes around during peacetime and wartime is that they're not pickling off warshots during the former. Steaming big-arse boats around on maneuvers ain't like running around the woods in BDUs; screw up in one and you get a twisted ankle, screw up in the other and you're on FOX News...

Hooyah, some the best and worst times of my life have happened while being haze grey and underway. Don't miss the job at all but the people are really hard to replace. Although I do wish my alarm clock would pipe reveille for me in the morning.

Ya I heard about the collision, scary movies, especially for the sub which ain't got a whole lot of positive buoyancy as it is...

4 or more naval careers just ended. Crunching ur ship into another is a BIG no no...

Hopefully no casualties and everyone has the same amount of parts they started the day off with.

    Keeping them in my prayers.

That is the only college game I ever watch, not just cause Canoe 'U' wins majority of the time, but for the sportsmanship. Always honorably played- No whining, crying, or constantly Lookin for the 'flag'. Wish the pros were like this!
