I decided to try VC3 for the first time because it was recommended by the parts manufacturer. I applied it to the bolts and let them sit as recommended. UNFORTUNATELY, I got side tracked and let them sit overnight! When I went to assemble the parts, it felt like the bolts were going in cross threaded. I backed them out and they were fine. I ran the bolts all the way using more force than I was used to. Out of caution, I backed them out again to check and the threads were fine.
I believe the recommended wait time is 10-30 minutes? Question for the experienced VC3 users… does using VC3 affect the torque setting when securing bolts?
