    Zwift Indoor Bicycle Trainer

I recently purchased the Zwift Hub indoor bicycle trainer and now have about 150 miles on Zwift. It's been a great fitness option this nasty Wyoming winter. Anyone else on PF riding Zwift?

I've dabbled in Zwift. It didn't click for me.

My goal was to improve my cycling specific fitness and for me, the TrainerRoad was a better avenue than Zwift, where the workouts aren't that great and there isn't much of a training plan, at least when I tried it out. TrainerRoad is about as boring as watching paint dry though and Zwift improves on that, to the degree that a lot of folks using TrainerRoad also use Zwift. I really don't enjoy indoor cycling as much as outdoor and didn't want the added monthly fee or complexity of running Zwift + TrainerRoad together.

However, I liked having the set schedule and needed the kick in the pants to do train indoors and do the really hard days to improve my FTP and get faster that TrainerRoad provided. That being said I did burn out after about a year, so you could say I was unsuccessful in the end. Once I quit riding a lot (8-10 hours or ~200-ish miles/wk) to focus on broader fitness/life goals, I lost most of the cycling specific fitness I'd gained in about another years time.
