When my uniform allowance comes in July I will be ordering my second SME for an RMR'd Glock 17 (or maybe, given the cost a G34 for the most compatability, if available). My SME for my 1911 is the most comfortable holster I own. And I was guided to it on another forum by one of the guys who worked with John to get it off the ground.

I saw a thread from ‘14 by user Taadski (Sp?) where he requested, among other things, knuckle relief and a full sweat guard. I requested the knuckle relief after getting a permanent bump on my middle finger knuckle from bashing it on kydex. And I prefer a full sweat guard. As you can see, John got it handled perfectly.

Glad you're digging it. I still carry that holster daily. I haven't found anything else that comes close to the SME comfort or concealability-wise for a full sized pistol. I have one for a full sized 1911 that I've been experimenting with carrying some too.

As an aside, my agency is changing duty pistols to a 320 model early this year and I'm probably going to be in the market for another SME to accommodate it (sigh). If anyone has a line on one, drop me a pm.

How long did it take to get? I'm still waiting for mine... ordered in Dec of 2017. I have contacted John and he tells me its "in production". I kinda gave up on it and him.

It turned out good. I did not get an SME as I had sold the pistol that I originally intended to use with it. John sent me a holster for a 640 Pro instead.
