    Ridiculous movies/books they SHOULD make/write

    I'll go first.

Manfred Von Richtofen (the Red Baron) dogfighting (not for keeps) Chuck Yeager in F-22s. IN 4K, DAMNIT.

I might have been listening too much to my kid's Sabaton playlists

How ridiculous? I’d watch “The Elmer Keith Christmas Special,” myself. Twice.

Someone should do movies based on the Wingman series.

And don't try to church them up, turn them into some high brow "film with meaning" or a Top Gun/Iron Eagle knock off. Keep the stupid, stupid fun feel and maybe start each movie with a reminder to suspend any and all notions that this has any basis in reality. Hawk Hunter is John Wick, John McClain and James Bond all rolled into one (consummate killer, can spoil any evil plan and has a knack for finding the best nookie in any time zone). Sort of a Mack Bolan of the air without the tragic backstory.

I just want Eisler's John Rain series to happen. Not ridiculous, unless you think that John Wick has taken the only asian actor in hollywood out of the mix. Oh, wait...

A run of James Bond movies that are faithful to Ian Fleming's original books, including the time period.

Doing Dan Simmons "Hyperion" and "Olympos" novels in an anime style.

And an epic, 10 hr miniseries adaptation of Admiral Maximilian Von Spee's actions during WWI would be pretty awesome.

Oops- forgot to add: a novel where Travis McGee teams up with Parker.
