I agree with @oregon45. If you look closely at Photo 10, the rib atop the barrel is checkered. You only find that on Model 27s. Still a nice gun. I hope you get it, Stephanie. There's just something special about a 3.5" N-frame.
Hope you get it! Auctions are fun. I do coin auctions and recently was successful on a Norwegian gold coin I've hankered for. Not that it is relevant here.

I have a pair of 4 inch Highway Patrolman. Always surprised they didn't make more of the 3.5inch and 2.5in model 66s. Seems like they would have been a hot item
