    A 28-2.

I'll let you guys know if I tap out.

One of my few regrets in this game is passing up on one when the NYSP was selling them off. So yes, I'd like to have one.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.

    Good luck, Stephanie!

I never knew there were 3.5" Model 28s. That's just wicked cool.

There weren’t. That’s a Model 27 barrel fitted to a Model 28-2 frame. Cool conversion but not a factory configuration.

I have an incredible 4" Mod 28. Best of luck on the chase!

I agree with @oregon45. If you look closely at Photo 10, the rib atop the barrel is checkered. You only find that on Model 27s. Still a nice gun. I hope you get it, Stephanie. There's just something special about a 3.5" N-frame.

Hope you get it! Auctions are fun. I do coin auctions and recently was successful on a Norwegian gold coin I've hankered for. Not that it is relevant here.

    I like that size revolvers.

I have a pair of 4 inch Highway Patrolman. Always surprised they didn't make more of the 3.5inch and 2.5in model 66s. Seems like they would have been a hot item
