    Hk p30 issue

Just picked up a p30 from my ffl. Previous owner is a friend and he said he only installed a heavy trs, gun is a v1 other wise.

Issue is sometimes when running the slide, the trigger goes into the lem trigger pull. Other times it goes into the heavier double action pull. With mag, without, running the slide with my hand or sending it home with slide stop..

Thoughts? I'm not opposed to sending it back to hk but if its an easy fix I would like to try it

Detail strip it and reassemble and make sure it's put together correctly? Sounds to me like he might have missed or messed up a spring?

At least one spring is a bear to get back in right.

Sounds as if the hammer is slipping off the sear.
Taking a break from social media.

I might be barking up the wrong tree, but one thing you could check real quick is to see if you can see both legs of the elbow spring on the hammer/cocking piece when the hammer is back. Not the greatest pic, but you can see the ends of the spring at the ends of the red lines.

Did you check that both leaf arms of the sear spring are intact? Even if they are, it might be worth a shot replacing it anyway, as it's like a $10 part and fairly easy to remove/install. I've read on HK forums that this "hammer follow" issue is sometimes found to be caused by the sear spring.

Just figured it out. Sear spring is broke. When looking at the frame the left side leg is snapped off

You should probably replace with the match spring- same weight but a lot smoother, with an NP3 type coating.

Also- the heavy TRS is known to be less durable than the medium (now standard) TRS. Might want to consider that.
