    Hats - Ball Caps Specifically

Hats should not have a hard metal button on top, and I won't wear one that does. Also, "one size fits all" is a bad sign.

My favorite cap is the Oakley Si hat, which comes in sizes.

I just buy regular traditional baseball hats. Usually ADIDAS or Puma or Under Armour, Nike...etc... Plenty of those everywhere

I've been pretty happy with my TNF Horizon hats since this conversation:

Looks like they have made some changes to the current version, but at least they got rid of the button.

ETA: it looks like another change is to a one size fits all, which usually doesn't.

Live in SC and can recommend these caps. Breathe well and provide good sun protection. Machine washable. Swift hat is good to go.

What I don’t need is a Combat Iron “TRIGGER PUKLER” hat

Here here! I almost never fit in one-size-fits-all hats. Apparently I have a big head. I'm liking this thread, I need a new hat.

I have some Flex-Fit hats in L-XL size that work for me but they are kind of too nice for every day wear. I might try a Hill People Gear hat.

Thats me as well. Velcro tends to pick at the interior of my insulated hoodie hoods, plus I've got that big head big brain thing going so usually a lot of hook or loop showing. Plastic tab adjusters usually are on the last hole so they look and feel weird.

Generally, either get fitted or flexfit in xl.

ETA - IMO nothing says moron better than an adjustable ballcap worn back'ards. Idiots.

I used to wear ball caps a lot, and I wore true fitted caps from a sporting goods store. A little more expensive than flex fit, or adjustable caps, but they just looked, and felt, better. I would just get a cap with no logo, in a color I liked.

These days, I rarely wear ball caps, other than when shooting a match. So when I do, most often it's a neon yellow cap, that matches my shirt. I started that after seeing the video of a guy still pasting targets, when the RO started the next shooter. Unfortunately, I can't find that video on youtube anymore.
