I've literally witnessed no difference. At 25 yds on 3" and 5" metal I will hit just as consistently with either. At 1" dots at 3, 5 and 7 yds I am equally comfortable although I'm less consistent than I'd like with either. The sight radius is maybe a half inch difference iirc. Trigger press however is a less forgiving animal

Fairness leads to extinction much faster than harsh parameters.
I own a P30 and and have shot friends P30L's. I see no difference in my shooting with that slightly added length. OC or CC the P30 carries fantastic and comfortable. If you want piece of mind pick up a spare P30L threaded barrel for your P30 from HK Parts ;-) lol
