Any use for OG Magpul Pmag 17 GL9 bodies?

Size: 37.6 KB I was digging through my magazine stashes in an attempt to get a rough inventory of my Glock magazines and I came across a Ziplock bag with 6 of the original Pmag17 GL9 magazine bodies. I have the letter from Magpul but I couldn’t figure out how to post more than 1 photo. To refresh memories, if you preordered the Pmag 17 or bought the original release Magpul realized there were some tiny dimensional anomalies which affected running the 17 round mags in G19 or G26 so they redesigned the magazine body and swapped them out for free. I had preordered some through Brownell’s or something so the new replacement bodies just showed up and I swapped the springs, followers, and floor plates. I kept the original bodies for some reason and now that I found them, is there a use for them or are they just destined for the landfill? Does anyone else have a use for them before they get trashed?

    Practice for stippling?

If you had extra base plates you could epoxy some weight in and make dummy mags.
