Thread: Holster for S&W 5906

It wasn't any easier finding holsters even when the third gen pistols were still in production. I ended up coming up with a design and approaching a holster maker. He ordered a holster blank to make the holster. Great in theory... The blank he ordered was a TSW model and had the safety lever down instead of in the firing position. The craftsmanship was good; it just didn't fit my pistol correctly.
I had an ER nurse in a class. I noticed she kept taking all head shots. Her response when asked why, "'I've seen too many people who have been shot in the chest putting up a fight in the ER." Point taken.

I'm not familiar with the company.

I've got one of these in my cart on eBay. Does anyone have any experience with this guy?

I recently picked up an OWB pancake from them for my G19. Looks sturdy. Good stitching. Decent finish. Thicker leather than say a Galco or DeSantis. Snugger than a monkeys uncle tho...needs some break in. It will be fine.
Working diligently to enlarge my group size.

I bought one for the 3” K-Frame a few years back. The holster seemed to be decently made for the price point, except it was too large and my 64 slid out with very little resistance. It did fit my 3” GP-100 pretty well.

My request to exchange was replied with, “We’re working on a 3” for the Model 10, keep an eye out and we’ll exchange it once we do.”

    …??

From another forum: Has anyone been able to contact Azula recently? I ordered a holster from them several weeks ago and have not heard a word from them since the payment went through. They don’t answer their phone, don’t answer emails and I’m beginning to think I made a mistake dealing with them. Hope I’m wrong and they come through eventually.

We have a long 6906 mold that I had made for my rounded trigger guard 6906. How long is the barrel on your 5906? Does anyone know if the 6906 is just a shorter version of the 5906? I have always liked the Gen 3 smiths!

I like High Noon, and they've always been good to me, but I look at their light duty line, which used to be their Skin line, as holsters you get while you are waiting for a better holster. I wouldn't choose that as a primary holster.

Edit to add: Something from this page would be a much better choice https://highnoonholsters.com/leather...t/extreme-duty

I suspect the "old school" leather makers produce a holster for that gun.

    As mentioned Milt Sparks,

    Kramer https://www.kramerleather.com/collec.../belt-scabbard

    Lobo does https://lobogunleather.com

I suspect Black Hills Leather does https://www.blackhillsleather.com
