When you spend twice the cost of the donor gun on gunsmithing you must have a clear understanding of the work required and what professional quality work really costs.
Sandy and I had this discussion early-on. I am very pleased with the result. Leaving the gun in its original..455 chambering is absolutely NO issue because the combat performance of the .455"load is quite well established and I carry no fantasy expectations for improved performance by using more modern loads.
