    Installing a NY-1 trigger spring in a Gen5 Glock?

Gen5s are different, has anyone seen installation information specific to these? I have the Gen5 specific 39651 spring.

    Thanks!

It seems to install just like a Gen1-4 - you just need to remove more parts. Done!

I can go look in the Armorer's Manual, if it will help? I *think* they mention a NY spring in a Gen 5 TMH, but I need to go track down the box with my books in it (we just moved house).

I don’t think it will be needed - all the Gen5 specific parts come out and the NY1 goes in. I was making it more complicated than I needed. Thank you, though!

I tried it and it didn't feel the same as my Gen 4 NY1. I removed it and went back to the regular Gen 5 trigger. Hopefully, it works better for you.

You also might want to experiment with a standard (no dot) connector. Best, Jon
