Thread: Is there an OWB holster for a Glock 30 with an Acro P2 and Surefire x300 light?

Is there an OWB holster for a Glock 30 with an Acro P2 and Surefire x300 light?

The new gun bug has bitten and I’d really like to get a Glock 30. I need to be able to carry it as a CCW so I need an OWB holster that will accommodate an Aimpoint Acro P2 and a Surefire x300 weapon light. I contacted JMCK and they don’t make one.

    Any suggestions?

Fit is based on the light, not the weapon.

Since the light is the dominant feature any G21 rig should do fine.

Thank you for suggesting this! Do you have one of these holsters? I’m wondering how well that will work for concealed carry?

Its pretty bulky and prints too much for my body type

The AIWB Floodlight works fine for my body type, but the OWB model is strictly a range item in my opinion. I regularly use both, and they get the job done well.

Comptac makes a G21 OWB that will hold the gun with an Acro and a X300 that will work, but that is a lot of gun and light for CCW....

I don't know my way around optics or light variations, but I suspect Dale Fricke covers your options with either the Gideon Elite or the Michael.

Dale Fricke's Gideon Elite, in my experience, conceals about the same as my Ritchie Vertical Speed Scabbard. https://www.ritchieholsters.com/cata...d-scabbard-vss

These are both for a 1911 with no light or optic.

Edit to add: The point being, that while neither are great, the Gideon Elite conceals a whole lot better than other straight drop kydex holsters like Blade-Techs Classic, Comp-Tac International, or Garrett's Ranger. The Gideon loop design pulls the grip to the body just like the Ritchie Speed Scabbard does.

Pure Kustom probably covers your set up, but you'll probably have to call and verify.

I appreciate everyone taking the time to help and offer suggestions. It looks like there’s nothing on the market like what I’m looking for. I thought the Glock 30 might be making a bit of a resurgence in popularity given so many states passing magazine bans but I guess it’s the light that is the issue.

This is throwing cold water on my desire to buy a new gun. 😀
