I picked up one of these little guys a while ago to play a bit with the compound grind. Good little knife so far. Have only done a bit of carving, some cutting of rope and cord, and part of dinner prep tonight.

The Eldris is a cool little knife. I really enjoy mine, but I do find it a bit lacking for food prep.

In all seriousness, I grab one of the long, relatively straight edged, flat ground Japanese style chef knives most of the time. But sometimes, the other ones just need a little use, if I'm not getting them outdoors much.
