I don’t want to say until I get everything back and can vouch for the cuts.

Will be soon, my SAS tactical P229 Legion slide should be done around the same time so I should be able to get some comparison pictures and impressions. Will definitely post up if people are interested.

@cheby well, despite the promise of a two week turnaround and assurance that they could do a K cut “no problem….”

Pilot Mountain Arms was a bust. Do not recommend. They said the firing pin block cutout is where the K mounts would be.

I wondered if they could overhang the optic frontwards over the ejection port or rearward overhanging.

But I figured they were out of their comfort zone.

They think they can do an RMR cut so we shall see.

My order from SAS Tactical is still being teed up for milling. 8 months and counting now.

There’s something to be said about the road more traveled.

I think I’m going to order a Glock 357 Sig barrel for my G22.5.

    Thanks for the update
I sent mine to Impact Machine to do the SIG cut (DPP/R1PRO and RMR). Similar to this: https://www.sigsauer.com/p229-pro-cu...eady-gray.html

Since the only option currently is Barsto, anxious to hear how that works out. I have been thinking about one.

Debating whether I want to have them make a long barrel with end porting.

    Pilot Mountain Arms.

Nice guys, pretty decent price and turnaround (< 1 month).

They thought they could do a K cut but the firing pin block hole was in the way.

So RMR cut which is fine.

Pocket is a little loose but they use screw posts which should support the optic.

Will see if it lasts on 357 Sig…

    SAS tactical milling finally done

It took 10 months to mill the slide. Way longer than their original estimated time frame and I don’t think that I would have picked the shop knowing then what I know now.

Pilot Mountain was not able to mill a K cut, but SAS tactical apparently did.

Will be very interesting to see how they solve that problem, either with a very shallow cut, or possibly compromise the structural integrity. Will take the optic off when I get it, and take a look at what it looks like underneath.

Will post findings when I get the slide on Wednesday.
