Yes, that bigger receiver sure is nice, I have had all four: 1301C, 1301T, A300C and A300UP.
In my case I decided to trade the 1301C for the A300C, swapping the nice big loading port for the hogged out receiver.
I bought the 1301C and 1301T at pretty much the same time, decided I didn't need them both and sold the T.
Then I ended up putting a longer mag tube on the 1301C so I decided I wanted another shorter gun, so I got the UP.
Then I decided I would just get a A300 Field gun, since the tube was longer than the 1301 barrel, but the field gun has the conventional A300 gas system and the tube does not pass through, so I ended up with a 24in A300C. If I had it to do over again I shoulda kept the 1301C.
I am happy now, but the 21in 1301C with a pro lifter and the 7+1 mag tube from the A300 (I had planned that swap) with a relieved receiver that mimics the (in some cases the serial number placement can be an issue) with some kinda optic might be the Goldilocks bowl of porridge if I was going to just have one (and not a separate game gun).

I'm not crazy about the looks but I am tempted to get one at that price. I'm guessing that finish was a flop and these are getting cleared out and discontinued.
Nothing some Krylon can't fix.
Are the 300's a different gas system than the 1301 or just a more bare bones version?
