I agree- that being said, the link and SKU is the current Gen2 version, not the "Mod2" however besides the Pro-Lifter or new handguard (which most replace with an Aridus version anyway) I don't see a reason to pay $1,700 for a 'newer' 1301T unless its worked by LTT

Just got an email from GG&G that they have a heatshield for the A300 and 1301 out now but it's only compatable with the Zhukov handguard.

Doesn't/didn't the Zhukov has issues with the MLOK slots holding on to accessories under shotgun recoil? The A300UP handguard is pretty solid so I'd just stick with it, personally.
Additionally, GG&G lost me as a customer after they straight-up copied many of Aridus's products.
That can happen with the weight of a WML but I don't ever see that happening with a 4 mount point plastic shield.
More importantly though, to your second point, fuck GG&G and their inferior knock-offs.
