    RDO compatible horizontal shoulder holsters?

I normally don’t use shoulder holsters, but I have one use case - my Miata. It’s narrow enough that hip carry is uncomfortable. I usually grab a 43 or more lately my P365, and use Safariland ALS shoulder holsters (yes, they are a thing.)

As I transition more and more to RDO pistols, I want to find a shoulder holster solution. I’ve never seen one - is anyone aware of any? Leather is fine, as is synthetic materials.

I've been meaning to email Mitch Rosen to see if they could make one for an XL with a dot work. I know there redoing their molds to fit the newer slides with the rear sight dovetail as I was wanting to order an XL Upper Limit.

I was hoping Null did something that would work, but I think Ken is winding down - many of his designs are out of production.

I just checked Galco’s website, and some of their Miami Classic models appear to be available for guns with red dots.

    That’s new, I think!

Edit - it looks like they have options for the P365/P365XL, but not a RDS equipped G19 or G26. But for the limited use I have planned, I’m ok with having a fit for only one gun.

My one concern is that the connection of the shoulder strap to the front end of any horizontal holster will likely have to move rearward, potentially placing the gun in an awkward position for concealment.

I am starting to dip my toe into pistol mounted optics, so ai will be interested in how this works. The Miami Classic is one of my favorite shoulder holsters.

Yeah, that’s something I’ve thought about too. I think if they keep the front (grip end) of the holster full length and hang from that it could work. (I don’t know how to describe what I mean.)

The P365/XL RDO fit Miami Classic II was available on Amazon at a discount, I’ll give it a try since returns are easy. I wish I could find a fit for my G26 with RDO, but they don’t even have one listed for a dot equipped 19.

I have a Miami Classic I’ve used for years, the harness at least. I used to carry my P7PSP in it, and changed the gun and magazine shells to G26 a few years back. That’s one of my Miata holsters.
