I’m dying. Need new backup irons.

I put the Overwatch Precision Have Blue irons on both my 45 and 19 MOS. Great sights and I love that they hit EXACTLY on POA at 25yds. Unfortunately, the rear blades are wide and sharp. I’m crying uncle. Even with an undershirt I’m getting chewed up; let alone my clothes.

Prior to these I had Heinies. They don’t hit POA, and were still kinda sharp.

Prior to the Heinies were Ameriglo GL-470’s. I liked the lower heights and they were more comfortable. They also hit POA, but I had a rear drift to the edge of a dovetail.

What do I do? Just go ironless? Back to Ameriglo’s with Green Loctite in the dovetail?

If it were me, I’d do the Ameriglos with wicking locker.

I switched to my M&P 1.0 with irons because my Ameriglo's kept drifting. I will have to try the green lock tight as well.

I’ve also used set screw rear sights on a larger cut dovetail

The presence of set screws is why I went to Heinie and Overwatch. If I can get set screws without cutting up myself and my clothes I’m all ears.

These are the ones I ordered off eBay for $40 a set.

Rounded rear ears might help you?

If the Ameriglos hit to your preferred POI, I would just get those and add some threadlocker to the dovetail.

I like my irons so low you can barely see the notch, and POI is center of window. That also keeps the front as close to stock height as possible.

Are these for use with a dot or for an irons only pistol?
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

Both for use with a dot. RMR on FCD plate on MOS guns.
