    Shotgun bag

I’m looking for a good case to hold a 18” gun with a side saddle and a WML. Doesn’t need to be crazy discreet or tactical but should fit the gun without much excess and should be durable.

I suspect you would have to wait until it’s back in stock, but Vang Comp just introduced a really slick shotgun bag that looks like a folding chair bag.

The Vang bag is cool but sacrifices utility for discretion. An overbuilt answer is Assault Systems, more humble is midway. Waller and Sons used to make neat bags but I don’t find them anymore.

Is it an 18” barrel or OAL?

For a shorty/shockwave one of the SO go bags would probably work well; although tactical must be tolerable.

I like baseball bat bags for my discrete options. Usually find em 2nd hand at goodwill for a couple bucks.

I really like my SERT TCC bags, the 42" and 46" will accommodate a shotgun no problem and they are designed to fit inside pelican cases if you ever need to fly commercial.

I use a Midway USA branded case for 18" shotguns.

What about a bass guitar gig bag?

It’s hard to beat the inexpensiveness and simplicity of these:

Hemmotop Tripod Carrying Case Bag 39x7x7in/100x18x18cm Heavy Duty with and Shoulder Strap Padded Carrying Bag for Light Stands, Boom Stand ,Tripod,Mic Stand and Tent Pole https://a.co/d/9S8FS3S

The 39” long one will easily fit an 18.5 inch barreled Remington 870 or Beretta 1301 with sidesaddle, light, and optic.
