    I've always cut Chris more slack than most of his contemporaries, at least he seems to be in on the joke.

    Chris is a genuinely nice guy who is in on the joke and has been for a while. I've spent time with him and had dinner with him when I took the Magpul Dynamics carbine class on which I wrote an article for SWAT magazine. There also is or was a Chris Costa action figure, and article on which shows that the thing has become a joke about itself which Chris is in on and enjoys:
