    Why no aluminum frame SP 101 or 2” .32 / .327

    Anyone have any insight as to why they have not offered these? Seems like a no brainer.

    Because they make the LCR.

    Investment casting aluminium requires a different process and equipment than Pine Tree is set up for. Would be much more expensive to produce for only a limited volume. When I worked for the company we were told to convey at trade shows to distributors was that they would make anything you wanted for a million dollar order.

    Ruger can sell all the stainless revolvers it can make, and the LCR is in the lineup for those wanting an affordable, lightweight revolver.
